  • The goal of the BHQC is to identify and reduce racial/ethnic disparities in breast health service delivery in the DC Metro Area. On behalf of BHQC, the Primary Care Coalition conducted focus groups to explore breast cancer screening beliefs and behaviors among: 1) African American women 2) Latinas 3) Chinese-American women; and 4) Muslim women.

    Promoting Breast Cancer Screening Among Women of Color

  • The Primary Care Coalition's BHQC hosted the Breast Health Quality Symposium on October 20th in Washington, D.C. Approximately 150 health care professionals, health services administrators, and patient advocates from D.C., Maryland, and Virginia convened to network, celebrate recent successes, and discuss best practices for advancing breast health equity in the region.
